Linda earned her Master of Education Degree in School Adjustment Counseling and her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Psychology in 1993 at Northeastern University. She is a Licensed Educational Psychologist from the MA Board of Allied Mental Health. Following her position as the Director of Psychological Services in the Hudson NH School District and private practice work at Andover Counseling Center, Linda founded Linda Price & Associates, LLC in 2004 in Chelmsford, MA offering individual counseling and holistic social skills groups, incorporating yoga, meditation, and executive functioning strategies with school and parent consultation. Linda obtained a children’s yoga certification from ‘Color Me Yoga’ in 2004 and became a Reiki Master Teacher since she believes in the mind-body-energy connection in on-going healing and growth.

In October 2014, Linda relocated her practice to the South Shore collaborating with the Center for Integrative Counseling and Wellness in Hingham, MA and providing thorough intake assessments, strength-based individual counseling, and executive function coaching for ADHD with the multi-disciplinary team and internationally known Hallowell Center. In addition to offering integrative treatment for ADHD and anxiety, Linda has continually provided holistic social groups for children and adolescents. Linda feels passionate about her work and has helped those suffering from ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum disorders, nonverbal learning disorders, social communication deficits, and other struggles. Linda utilizes a comprehensive approach by incorporating creative play activities with cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and Social Thinking® curriculum, as well as yoga and mindfulness. As part of the groups, parenting support and psychoeducation are provided to help skills to generalize outside of the therapy and be maintained over time. She also offers on-going Mindful Parenting Groups and parenting workshops on a variety topics to help with managing challenging behaviors and emotions at home.

Since Linda simultaneously served as a School Psychologist and Adjustment Counselor in the Hanover School System for five years beginning in 2012, she understands the current stress level and demands placed on students and school personnel first hand. She has pursued intensive training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, participated in the Resilient Schools training from the Benson-Henry Institute through Massachusetts General Hospital, was trained as a Calm Classroom facilitator, and received her 200 hour yoga teacher certification at Maha Yoga Center. Subsequently, Linda has witnessed the many direct benefits when students and the adults in their lives practice Mindfulness together at home and school. School Psychologists, School Counselors, and related support professionals are nurtured in Social Emotional Learning groups to focus time for their own self-care and compassion with hands-on methods for utilizing yoga and mindfulness techniques in their work with students. Presenting Social Emotional Learning and Mindfulness trainings at conferences, schools, organizations, and parent groups has become a passion for Linda and she also enjoys doing presentations for Minding Your Mind, a non-profit mental health organization. She became committed to her yoga and meditation practice in 1999, which has contributed to her own self-care enabling her to provide empathic support for others over the years.
